Part 2: A Practice for Returning to the Heart

Breathe…
Inhale through the nose, exhale from the mouth.
Smell the soft perfume of roses in bloom—
sweet, playful, ancient.

Breathe again…
Feel the damp earth after rain—
moist, fertile, alive.

One more breath…
Listen—
to birdsong, to wind, to water,
to the hush between waves.

Now, place your hands gently
over your heart.
See through this sacred lens.
Feel the love that lives there.
Reach with your heart toward a flower,
a tree, a loved one—
and let gratitude bloom.

Let this become your prayer,
your path, your homecoming.
Even forgiveness begins here—
at the altar of the heart.

The Great Mother smiles.
The sacred beings of nature rejoice.
You have remembered.
You have returned.

Welcome home,
Gardener of the Heart.
